Bistro MD gourmet quality diet is created by a medical doctor who specializes in weight management. Dr. Cederquist.
It is 1200-calorie diet program with weekly meal delivery service. The daily menu includes 3 fully cooked, portion-controlled meals
and 2 healthy snacks. The program doesn't require commitment, cooking and cleaning. Plans are customizable and very easy to follow.
Bistro MD is respected and well-known program.
However, the diet has some disadvantages. We made a research on weight loss forums, and combine the
most common dieter's complaints and disadvantages of the Bistro MD diet.
Bistro MD customers' complaints
- Frozen food. Portion-controlled Bistro MD meals come frozen in individual vacuum-sealed packages.
You can put any meal right in its sealed tray into a microwave. Meals are fully cooked, you just need to heat it up and eat.
Vacuum sealed package helps cook food in its own natural juices preserving the natural flavor and texture of the foods, as
well as nutrient content. A defrosted meal in the vacuum-sealed packaging can be safely keep in the refrigerator for 48 hours.
- There is no maintenance plan. Bistro MD doesn't offer specifically designed maintenance plan for dieters, but the diet uses
a lifestyle philosophy. You can stay on Bistro MD plan as long as you want it and enjoy the food,
even for the rest of you life. Once you have lost extra pounds, the program will help you to maintain your weight.
- Lack of one-on-one or online expert support. Bistro MD does not offer one-on-one support or online support.

There is free subscription to their newsletter with the latest diet advice and health
tips from weight loss experts. You also can ask the dietitian for personal advice by sending an email with your question.
